A. K. Ganesan, President & CEO
Ganesan has grown the company to leadership positions in the mobile storage and mobile connectivity IP markets. Ganesan defined the company’s strategic differentiation by offering a comprehensive IP solution and investing in an analog mixed-signal design team in order to meet the challenges of evolving standards. The company now employs nearly 250 people in San Jose, CA in the USA and Bangalore and Tuticorin in India. Ganesan has a BS/BE in Engineering from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, and Marketing from San Jose State University.
Prakash Kamath, Chief Technical Officer
Responsible for Arasan engineering worldwide, Prakash has 29 years of extensive design and management experience. Prakash has successfully contributed to establishing the Arasan “Total IP Solution” and has been instrumental in achieving Arasan’s leadership position with regard to Mobile Storage and MIPI IP solutions. Prior to joining Arasan in 2002, Prakash held design and management positions at AMD, National, and Chips & Technologies. Prakash holds a BS degree from the University of Madras, India, and an MS degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA.
Ron Mabry, Vice President Worldwide Sales
Ron is a proven leader in large companies and start-ups with rich experience in semiconductor IP, software solutions, semiconductors products, and Internet solutions. He has demonstrated skills in results-driven management in sales, business development, marketing, distribution channels, supply chain, and operations management. His experience includes management positions in sales and marketing at Logic Vision, PACT XPP, eChips, Bell Microproducts, Western Micro Technology, and Avnet. Ron is a graduate of the National Radio Institute.
Chari Santhanam, Vice President of Engineering
Chari has a deep background in digital IP design and management. He is responsible for all of Arasan’s digital IP core and hardware development platform engineering. He has over 20+ years of management experience in the semiconductor industry. Most recently he was Director of Engineering at Synopsys where he was responsible for the USB Digital IP cores. Earlier, he played a leading role in building the leading USB IP from startup to a multimillion dollar revenue level. He has also held engineering management positions at InSilicon, Phoenix, Sand Microelectronics, LSI Logic and Viewlogic Systems. Chari has a B.S. in Physics form Fergusson College, Pune, India and a BSEE from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
