IP for Mobile Devices - MIPI™ Mobile Industry Processor Interface

Arasan Chip Systems has been a Contributor Member of MIPI since 2004. Arasan is at the forefront of constructing a complete family of IP for the Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) standards. Arasan Chip Systems has a long history of working in the mobile standards area, in mobile storage and connectivity. Arasan is continuing to expand its special expertise to further serve the set of companies that have worked together to define the MIPI standards.

Arasan joined MIPI as a Contributor Member and has participated in helping to develop the set of standards that the MIPI group is promoting. Arasan is developing the complete set of mobile platform interface specifications for integration into chips as reusable IP and the verification IP to validate operation and performance. Standard interfaces on mobile devices will help drive down the cost of integrating an expanding set of functions in a single device. Mobile products are becoming multi-media display, audio, and camera functions. These “look and listen” systems include features that require ever increasing bandwidth to improve the consumer experience.
